We are being mentored by members of FRC Team 5708, Zebrotics. https://zebrotics.org/ Our Zebrotics mentors, Dom, Lena, and Marc have been extremely helpful in helping us to turn our concepts into plans, then into design elements, and finally into functional components!
Our mentors appreciate tremendous support with getting started from the Saline Middle Schools FTC team 26606 H.I.V.E. coach Jeroen Spitael! His feedback and guidance has been invaluable in setting up our own team. He has also generously helped us to find resources (like a cart, storage, the MSCR League, and tech workshop). He also helped us to brainstorm improvements to our ball lift mechanism. The Saline FTC teams are FTC # 10644, 10645, 15555, and 26606. We really enjoyed being on alliances with the Saline teams during our recent league matches.
We are also very appreciative of Tech Workshop in Ann Arbor (https://techworkshop.org/). They have a wonderful facility, and a full sized field that we regularly practice at. We appreciate really their team's commitment to coopertition (FTC#28804, the Cybersmiths)! The Cybersmiths taught our team how to use PedroPathing. That enabled our team to create sequences for auto programs, and led to us adding many automated functions to our teleop drive code functions. Our scrimmages are great fun, and we really hope to get to partner with them during competition. We have had the chance to be on opposing alliances during competition, which has also been exciting.
We had the opportunity to practice with FTC#11618, the Chelsea Gremlins, another all-girl team. The Gremlins were great fun to spend time with. In addition to their substantial technical experience, they showed us how their team has developed culture and brought joy to their practices. The Gremlins have potluck lunches, dancing, and a conga line as a refreshing break during their longer weekend practices. We now have a little gremlin mascot on Gobot (our robot). Their coach, Marka Eberle, also organizes the Michigan South Central Robotics League. Being part of the league has been an incredible experience.

Our team appreciates training support provided by Maker Works (www.maker-works.com). Our team members took a class to learn to use the Epilog laser cutters and also took a class learning to use CAD in Fusion. We really appreciate the classes, which were sponsored by the Rotary Club.
We really appreciate the support of our sponsors:

BASE CAMP is also a major financial sponsor for our team. Thank you BASE CAMP!
